The second annual LivCo Special Education & Disability Resource Fair is set for Nov. 9 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Avon Middle School, 191 Clinton St., Avon.
This free event is open to the public and aims to provide valuable resources and support for families of children with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities.
The resource fair will feature more than 25 organizations and agencies that service Livingston County and will serve as a one-stop resource hub for families seeking information and support tailored to their unique needs. Families will have the opportunity to learn about essential services including advocacy support, care coordination, community and recreational programs, health and therapy services, and much more.
“We understand that navigating resources can be overwhelming for families,” said Kerri Levine, Director of Pupil Services at Avon Central Schools. “This event is designed to simplify that process and empower families with the tools they need to support their children.”
In addition to valuable resources and information, the event will feature a variety of children’s crafts and activities, ensuring that the fair is a fun and engaging experience for all ages.
Families from all of Livingston County are encouraged to join us for this unique opportunity to discover local resources and connect with others in the community.
