The purpose of Title I is “to provide all children significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education, and to close educational achievement gaps.” Avon Central School District's mission is to "develop lifelong learners and responsible citizens equipped to prosper in the global society." Title I, Part A is part of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Consolidated Grant and provides for parent and family engagement at every level of the program. These resources help to provide an equitable and quality education for all students.
