The district has purchased school supplies for students this year (2026- 2027).

In September, all Middle School students will receive all the necessary binders (with dividers), folders, and notebooks/composition books needed for each course. In addition, every classroom will also have art supplies (markers, crayons, and colored pencils), writing utensils (pens, pencils, highlighters), paper, and glue sticks for students to use in the classroom for completing daily instructional tasks.

Students will need to provide their own backpack and lunch box. Students may also bring in their own shelf locker and/or pencil case. Remember sneakers, socks, shorts, and a t-shirt will be needed for PE class.

At the middle school, we are asking that students have supplies at home to complete daily homework assignments and special school projects. Home items include: pens, pencils, scissors, glue sticks, colored pencils/markers/crayons, and lined paper.

Approximately August 19^th schedule and locker information will be availalbe on Schooltool.  Hard copies will also be available in the Middle School Office the week prior to school and will be distributed at the Family Engagement: Meet and Greet Tuesday, September 1^st  from 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM. Students will be recieving their official schedule the first day of school.

• Doors Open & Bus Drop Off: 7:40 AM (Please do not drop off your student prior to 7:40 AM.)
• School Day Start Time: 7:50 AM ( Please Note: Students who arrive after 7:50 AM will be considered tardy to school.)

• 12^th Period Advisement is 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM students need to make arrangements with a staff member prior to the end of the day in order to stay after for advisement.  In addition, peer mentoring or clubs meet during this time.

• Walkers can enter either the MS or HS Main Doors
• Late Busses come at 3:20 PM and pick up at the MS Bus Loop.  Students will need a Bus Pass from a teacher to ride the late bus.

Please Note: On these days, middle and high school students will be dismissed from school at 12:00 PM.

Parent Teacher Conference Day for Grades 5 & 6 are on  Thursday, November 19^th and Thursday, March 18^{th.  T}here will be no school for students Grades UPK – 6 on that day.  Teachers for those grade levels will conduct Parent Teacher Conferences.  More information will come from the teachers regarding setting up a meeting time.

YEARBOOKS

The School is required to do eight Fire Drills and four Lock Down Drills a year.  At the beginning of the year we review with the  students drill procedures and expectations of behavior during a drill.  Notifcations will go out to families after a drill has occurred.  If you have any questions, please contact the Middle School Office. Emergency Protocal

It is in your best interest to label backpacks, lunch bags, water bottles, sweatshirts and anything else that might be misplaced by your child.  Teachers are ask that if items are found in a classroom that they stay in the classroom for the student to find it.  If an item is left in a hallway, the auditorium, the cafeteria or gym there will be a clear bin marked Lost and Found that the item might be in.  

If a student reports something missing, they will be told to retrace their steps, touch base with their class teachers and look in the bins marked Lost and Found.  It will also be noted in the Middle School office in case it turns up.  Please contact the Middle School Office if you have any questions or concerns.
