Last week’s River Hawk Rumble was a huge success! 

In the first matchup of the evening, our senior team won the best of 3 match against our junior team in straight sets. 

Then, the seniors took the floor once again to face our all-star teacher team.

Our staff played hard and put up a good fight, but it was the seniors who won the day in straight sets to capture the River Hawk Rumble title. 

Organizers collected $500 in donations at the rumble and, thanks to the Class of 2025’s decision to match the funds raised, the rumble ended up raising $1,000!

Funds will be split between the Avon Food Pantry and Mallory Long, a Spanish teacher in our high school who was diagnosed with cancer last year and has been undergoing treatment since. 

A huge thank you to all our volleyball players, coaches, volunteers and attendees - you made this all possible!
