Give it up for Avon’s own Mollie G., who eclipsed the 1,000 career assists mark last night early on during Avon’s straight sets win over Bishop Kearney/Chesterton/Archangel in the Section V Class C1 semifinals. 

Mollie, a senior setter for the River Hawks, had 27 assists on the night. Her career assists total now stands at 1,022 with at least one more match left to play - the C1 finals showdown against #1 seed Le Roy - this season.  

Congratulations, Mollie!
