Avon High School named to 'AP Honor Roll'
We’re proud to announce that Avon High School has once again been named an AP Honor Roll Bronze School by College Board!
To receive this honor, a school must meet aggressive benchmarks in three distinct criteria areas: College Culture, which measures what percentage of graduating seniors have taken at least one AP course while in high school; College Credit, which measures what percentage earned college credit by scoring a 3 or higher on an AP exam; and College Optimization, which measures what percentage have taken at least 5 AP classes while in high school.
Avon earned bronze level in the College Culture category, with 45% of the class of 2025 taking at least one AP course in high school, gold level in the College Credit category with 38% scoring a 3 or higher on an AP exam, and platinum status in the College Optimization, with a whopping 21% taking at least 5 AP classes during their time at Avon High School.
Congratulations to our high school teachers and staff and of course to members of our Class of 2025 on this laudable achievement!
