Your Avon River Hawks took second place last night in the Livingston County Athletic Association Competitive Cheerleading Championships. 

Competing in Division 2, our varsity cheer squad put up a score of 68.75, just 0.15 points behind first place finisher Letchworth. 

“Even though last night didn’t go the way we wanted to I’m proud of the girls for never giving up and leaving it all out on the mat,” said Head Coach Lyndsay Herkimer. “I’ve seen what this squad is capable of when it’s firing on all cylinders and if they execute the way I know they can at sectionals, then I really like our chances to place in Class D1.”
