The Avon-Livonia-Geneseo Lakers put up dominant performances on both sides of the ball at home Saturday en route to the 15-7 win over the Haverling Rams.

Leading the charge offensively was Owen S., who put up an incredible 8 goals and 1 assist. Will S. added a strong all-around performance with 3 goals and 3 assists, while Rider V. controlled the tempo with 2 goals, 3 assists and a dominant showing at the faceoff X (15 wins).

Contributions came from everywhere — Jack A. and Stavros K. each found the back of the net, while Connor D. chipped in 3 assists to keep the offense humming.

On the defensive side, the group battled hard, scooping up 54 ground balls. Rider V. led the way with 13, while Zach G., Logan P., Brian G. and Owen S. all made key contributions. The defense stayed active with multiple takeaways to shut down opportunities.

The Lakers moved to 4-1 with the win and are next in action tonight - Monday, April 20 - away against Waterloo. Game time is 6 p.m.
