Seniors in Mrs. Alexe Dunham’s and Mrs. Monica Swanson’s government classes just wrapped up their mock trial! 

As part of their rights, responsibilities and duties of citizenship unit, students examined whether the fictional Taylor Glow was guilty of intentionally setting fire to the Texas Governor’s Mansion. 

Each student took on a role in the trial and worked to communicate and defend their position effectively. 

Both the defense and prosecution presented compelling evidence and arguments, creating an engaging courtroom but in the end, the jury found Taylor Glow guilty of the crime.
