We’re excited to announce that Gordon Korman is coming to Avon next month as our visiting author for 2026! 

A prolific author whose young adult books have appeared atop the New York Times Best Sellers list, Korman is well-known for his “Ungifted,” “Swindle” and “Masterminds” series. 

He’ll be in our district May 20 to lead two assemblies - one for 4th, 5th and 6th graders and one for 7th and 8th graders - and conduct a writing workshop for select students. 

Any student interested in purchasing one of Korman’s books so the author can sign it during his visit is asked to fill out the included order form and and return it to Ms. Jessica Mucci by Saturday, May 9.
