Another hard-fought teacher-student basketball game in the middle school gym yesterday afternoon.

This time around, our 7th/8th grade boys intramural champions, team 4 Musketeers, took on our faculty team in a 4-vs-4 contest. 

It was a back-and-forth affair as the 4 Musketeers, eighth graders Ossian G., Liam N., Louis B. and Brian S., and our faculty team, Joe Montesano, Archie Cappotelli, Mike McGough and Mackenzie Palmer, traded leads a few times.

In the end, it was the teachers who came away with the 18-14 win but as Mr. Montesano was heard to observe after the game “They were pretty good. We actually had to play!”

Congrats to the 4 Musketeers on the intramural title… and to our faculty for defending the honor of adults throughout Avon Central Schools!
