Huge thank you to all the families who participated in our annual walk to school day this morning!

Our elementary school students and parents assembled at the village parking lot next to the Avon United Methodist Church, then headed down Genesee Street, took a left on Clinton and headed to Avon Elementary.

This was a great way to start the day! Fresh air, friends and a bit of a stroll? What’s not to like?! 

Oh, and an early morning recess session out on the playground doesn’t hurt, either.

Shout out to the Avon PTA for making this happen and to our staff volunteers who accompanied students on the walk to school - we appreciate you!
