We’re thrilled to announce our own Mrs. Jennifer Leonard and Mrs. Cordula Kennell have been voted the best teachers in Livingston County as part of the Genesee Valley Penny Saver’s annual Livingston County Reader’s Choice Awards! 

This year’s contest saw more than 85,000 votes cast by more than 6,500 Penny Saver readers and to have the top two vote getters here in Avon speaks to the quality of faculty we have within our district.

Mrs. Leonard, a first grade teacher at Avon Elementary School, and Mrs. Kennell, an English and creative writing teacher in the high school, have made meaningful and positive impacts on literally hundreds of students during their time here and we feel lucky to be able to call them Avon Central School District teachers.
