'Winnie the Pooh KIDS' debuts Friday

Our auditorium may be undergoing renovations but that doesn’t mean we’re going to let fall pass without a middle school show!

Mark your calendars, Avon, for our middle school’s upcoming production of “Winnie the Pooh KIDS.”

This one-act musical transports the audience to the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh is once again in search of honey. Along the way, he meets his pals, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit and Owl, but soon discovers that Christopher Robin has been captured by the mysterious Backson! As they prepare for a rescue operation, the animals learn about teamwork, friendship and, of course... sharing snacks.

There are two performances planned on the second story stage of The Opera Block, 17 Genesee St., Avon:

• Friday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m.

• Saturday, Oct. 24 at 2 p.m.

Admission is free, though donations will be accepted and appreciated.

We hope to see you this Friday or Saturday!
